Our Story
Bedouyat is new startup enterprise that has been created within the Disi women cooperative funded by project RADICE, and that aims at revive the Bedouin history, culture and traditions through an authentic cultural experiences such as Art and food classes based on a group of motivated Bedouin women in the heart of Wadi Rum desert in the south of Jordan!
RADICE project funded by the Italian Agency for Development Cooperation (AICS), and implemented by AVSI aims for the strengthening of social cohesion between Syrian refugees and host communities in the municipalities of Diseh and Gweirah, Aqaba Governorate.
The project was implemented during the year 2020, It included capacity building trainings for the Jordanian and Syrian women in the cooperative, as well as rehabilitation works for some facilities in the cooperative to be able to host the experiences that were developed for the local and foreign tourists to live the authentic traditions of the Bedouins.
